My design journey started in web design, where I got to wear both design and front-end development hats. From there, I found my niche in email messaging, blending visual design with the quirks of coding. While it had similarities to web design, email brought its unique challenges (and I loved every second of it).

At Capital One, I focused on leveling up the user experience and visual impact for all customer-facing emails. I thrived where technology meets creativity, always finding ways to innovate and solve problems while ensuring designs were eye-catching and on-brand. Eventually, I expanded into other digital channels, crafting cohesive visual ecosystems that met customers wherever they preferred to engage.

I also led the growth of "One Click," a product that allowed customers to complete actions directly from an email with—you guessed it—just one click! I worked on expanding it across new channels and standardizing the user experience to make it seamless and intuitive.

Now, I run my own independent design studio, where I partner with small businesses to create thoughtful brand identities, user-friendly websites, and engaging UX solutions. Whether I’m designing a new logo, refining a site’s user flow, or building out a Squarespace site from scratch, I bring strategy, empathy, and curiosity to every project.

When I’m not immersed in design, I’m outside getting my hands dirty in the garden or volunteering as a Master Naturalist, championing conservation landscaping and sustainability.  My husband and I love to travel, camp, hike, catch live shows, or relax in our stock tank pool when the weather cooperates.
